Beginners Sewing Class

In this class you will learn how to cut fabric, sew a ¼” seam, press, match seams, terminology, and more! By the end of the four sessions the goal is for you to have a completed quilt top that measures 54”x 63” (lap size).

Class fee: $265

What does my class fee include?

· Fabric to make the quilt top (1 Layer Cake)

· Backing fabric (3.666 yards)

· Binding fabric ( 5/8 yards)

· Batting (1.666 yards)

· Harmony Quilt Pattern

· A spool of thread

When is the class?

Each class will be made up of four sessions. Classes will be on Mondays from 6pm-8pm. Because this beginner’s class will be very hands on, each class will only have 2-4 students.

What do I need to bring?

Your sewing machine and the accessories that go with it. Which means pressure foot, power cord, empty bobbin, and pressure feet. You will also need a rotary cutter, ruler (at least 10” long) and seam ripper.
